Birthday Memories

A Portrait for a Grandmother with her Grand kids makes for an excellent birthday memory. This is a casual Portrait that will be cherished for generations to come. Photographs can be taken with a particular idea in mind with regard to where it will be displayed and therefore best arranging the subjects to suit the visual space that the final framed piece will hang. You don't have to always remain within the confines of what everyone thinks of as being standard sized images such as 8x10 or 16x20. Something wide like this Portrait, to hang across a mantle for example, may be the perfect piece of art to fill a visual need.

Business Headshot and Portraiture

Even a Business Photography Session can be done in a relaxed environment. Creating a look that is warm, open and friendly will let your clients know you are caring and approachable. Dark clothing attracts less attention and draws the viewers eye to your face.

"I am a completely happy customer. Your easy style actually made the session fun! I have already been converted into an enthusiastic sales guy for you. You are a magician. Thank you!" ... Dr. Basil Peters.

Casual Portraiture

Everyone needs a great Headshot or Portrait. Whether for a special someone, friends or family, give those that care about you a relaxed portrait that depicts you as you really are. A casual session is easy on the nerves and allows you to be photographed without any preconceived pressure, allowing you feel good and look natural ... the way everyone that knows you, sees you.

Kids ... No Problem!

This was taken as an Actor Headshot for this young fellow. His Mom contacted me about getting his Headshot done to leave it with casting directors. Kids can be fun to do because they are usually full of energy and capable of many expressions.

Model Portfolios

Putting together a strong portfolio takes time and effort. Clothing, hairstyle and makeup changes all contribute to building a diversified portfolio. Ideally, you want more than one photographer shooting you so that you end up with a variety of shooting styles in your book. Feeling at ease with a photographer capable of producing great images will help you bring out your best look, and that creates powerful images.

Conceptual Artistic Portraiture

Turning an idea or concept into a finished piece of personal art is always fun and exciting. Collaborating with a model or client and shooting an image is only half the job, when knowing post production work is going to be used to complete the photograph. With excellent command of Photoshop, I can create a piece of artwork for you as well. Whether to capture your sense of style or create the perfect gift for your loved one ... working together to create an Artistic Portrait will bring the actor or actress out of you! Imagine having a beautiful, stunning piece of personal art in your home.

Contempory Business Headshots

A combination of studio strobe light and controled natural daylight were used to create this Headshot. A new contempory look and style for use on her business card, letting her clients know she is friendly, professional and approachable. Your Headshot should be current. If you haven't had your Headshot taken in the last 2 or 3 years, it's probably time. A great Headshot on your business card or website can help bring you more business, just as a poor image can turn potential clients off. Book your Headshot session and find out that creating a Headshot for your business can be creative and fun. A solid Headshot should convey trust, professionalism and confidence. It's all about image and how you present yourself. Get that tired old headshot replaced with your new exciting look. Your clients are more likely to hang onto your business card if you have a great looking Headshot. They may even be more inclined to show it around!

Family Portraits

Family, our most prized possession. Changing with time, families grow, intertwine and move but the bond remains a constant as our love for the people in our lives gives us a sense of security and belonging. A cherished portrait today, becomes a record of historical significance with sentimental value for future generations. Time passes us quickly and having these slivers of time photographed professionally is a way of celebrating family and love. Capturing your family’s life as it changes from year to year, or perhaps because of a major event, will provide you with the comfort of knowing that you have a very special possession ... a professional family portrait.

Stylized Portraiture

In the tradition of "Old Hollywood", George Hurrell styled portraiture, when the big studios owned their actors and actresses through contracts, photographing their stars to make them seem flawless and Goddess like was done through lighting control and retouching. This classic look was recreated through lighting and pose. Light placement and ratios as well as post production work are all required to produce a great portrait that a client will be proud to own and display.
